General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance

This GDPR Compliance Statement applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK) and supplements the Adbird Privacy Policy. It explains how Adbird ("we," "us," "our") processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and the UK GDPR.

2. Personal Data We Process
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, and account credentials.
- Financial data: payment and bank account details required to process affiliate payouts.
- Verification data: identification documents, where required for identity or payment verification.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and log files.
- Performance and usage data: click-through rates, conversions, commissions, traffic sources, and referral statistics related to your affiliate activity.
- Communication data: messages, support inquiries, and feedback you submit to us.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (e.g., health data, political opinions) and ask that you do not submit such data to us.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. You may object to such processing at any time (see Section 7).
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential, analytics, and marketing cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. Where required by the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer.
5. Recipients of Personal Data
We share personal data only where necessary with:
- Payment processors, to execute affiliate payouts securely;
- Hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers, acting as our processors under written data processing agreements;
- Advertising and tracking partners, strictly for conversion attribution;
- Competent authorities, where disclosure is required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
6. International Data Transfers
Adbird primarily processes data in Türkiye, which is outside the EEA. Where personal data of EEA/UK residents is transferred to Türkiye or other third countries, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with our processors, together with supplementary technical and organizational measures such as encryption and access controls. 7. Your Rights Under the GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of your data.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion of your data where legal grounds apply.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller.
- Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Rights related to automated decision-making (Art. 22): Adbird does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
8. How to Exercise Your Rights
Send your request to info@adbird.co with the subject line "GDPR Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. We will respond within one month of receipt; this period may be extended by two further months for complex or numerous requests, in which case we will inform you of the extension and its reasons. Exercising your rights is free of charge, except where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining your account, complying with legal (e.g., tax and accounting) obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
10. Complaints
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. A list of EEA supervisory authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu. UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first at info@adbird.co.
